For those who haven’t spent much time with the internet, you may find pages don’t seem to change, even though it’s high time they did. Sometimes, it means the volunteer squirrels turning the gears behind the scenes haven’t gotten to it yet. But, more often, this simply means you need to “Refresh” your view of the page.
In order to save time, your local computer saves a copy of the page. Sometimes it forgets to check for a new version. That’s when Refresh/Reload is your friend (and you prove YOU’RE in charge).
To start a refresh, look for it’s icon near the top of your browser. Usually it’s some sort of circle with an arrow in it.
If you can’t find it, never fear–there’s always a key for that. The F5 key is generally reserved for the same purpose. On anything Apple, of course, it is different: often [Command] plus [R].
If a page HERE still hasn’t changed…well, webmasters usually respond to bribes.
