On August 27 members of the Stanislaus Senior Softball Association Board of Directors presented a check for $5,000 to Esthela de la Cruz, Executive Director of Valley Children’s Healthcare, at their Pelandale Specialty Care Center.
Representing SSSA were President David Hansen, Board members Dar Harrity, Lisa Stout, Kindra Walker, Jess Taylor, and Dan Langhoff, along with League Commissioner John Perez.
Donating to local charities is part of the SSSA charter. Our fund-raising efforts during the year (raffles at the mid-summer picnic, tournaments, etc.) make this possible.
